Moonfleet St Mawes
Moonfleet is a beautifully renovated modern luxury property with lovely views over the Percuil River and surrounding National Trust countryside. The property occupies a truly exceptional position within a very desirable part of St Mawes, quietly tucked away on the eastern side of the village, yet just minutes’ walk from Summers beach and local shops. St Mawes Castle is a main attraction and there is a regular ferry service to Falmouth. The village has hotels offering fine dining and afternoon teas as well as a selection of galleries and other shops including a deli, butchers and bakers.
Sleeps 8 in luxurious style
Indoor – The interior of the property was recently remodelled to combine traditional Cornish materials with state-of-the-art specifications. All the furniture is bespoke and has been designed specifically for the house, made by local craftspeople from locally sourced materials. The interior design by one of the UK’s top designers features furniture and fittings made from timber, slate and glass and uses grass papers, hessians and linens. This gives the house a sense of complete harmony with its setting and a simple but sumptuous comfort.
The Master Bedroom – has a super king sized bed, a walk-in dressing room and an en suite bathroom with two basins, separate shower and luxury bath. The windows from the master bedroom have wonderful views over the river and surrounding countryside. You start your day by waking up to the morning sun streaming into the windows over the views of the river.
Outdoor – Outside there are mature landscaped gardens to the front and rear of the property. The Moonfleet grounds are totally private and offer enclosed safe places for children to play. At the rear there is plenty of space for lawn games and to eat together on the decking adjacent to the kitchen. There is a BBQ and a range of furniture for outside dining.

Upstairs there are four double bedrooms, the front twin bedroom has similar views to the master from the full-length windows. It has an en suite bathroom with a separate shower. The second double bedroom has a large en suite shower room and the second twin bedroom is located opposite the family bathroom which has a bath and separate shower. All bedrooms have ample storage and space. There is a travel cot and high chair available.
There is a large and comfortable sitting room with views over the garden. Doors can be fully opened at the front and back of the house to enjoy the morning and the evening sunshine. There is plenty of seating with space for guests to relax together. There is a high definition smart TV and Sonos audio system.
The large cinema room a real treat for all the family. With a huge, comfortable corner sofa and two Fatboy bean bags you can play video games or watch a favourite film with a complete cinematic experience. The high definition projector with impressive 90” screen and eight speaker audio surround sound system provides an immersive experience. Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Satellite STB, Xbox games console and a Blu-ray DVD player are all available.
